Chicken and Apricot Potjie

1 packet instant marinade (chicken flavour)
2 kg chicken portions
60 ml oil
12 baby onions
125 ml dried apricots
4 carrots (sliced)
6 potatoes (peeled and cut into chunks)
250 ml dry white wine

Prepare marinade according to packet instructions.
Pour over chicken pieces and allow to marinate for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a cast-iron pot over the coals and brown the onions.
Add the chicken and remaining ingredients and cover.
Allow to simmer slowly for 1 to 1.5 hours until chicken is tender.
